Endings bring new beginnings, and that certainly has been the case forVancouver'srestaurantChambar. As their lease was coming to an end at their old space a few doors down,Owners Nico and Karri Schuermans decided to make the move to a new address (though it's literally a few steps away). This larger space boasts more seating and some new additions to the layout.

Chambar has never had a problem setting the mood over the last 10 years, but they've somehow managed to make the new space's atmosphere even more sultry than their old home. The exposed brick and beautiful lighting really set the mood in this space.
Spread over two floors and a patio,Chambar's new digs feature 270 seats.Whether you choose to sit outside on the 50-seat patio, tucked away in a romantic and cozy corner,or right at the bar amongst the action, you're in good hands.
Planning a party? They have a private party room that can fit 20 to 80 people.
Food and Drink
One thing hasn't changed at Chambar, and that's the menu's Belgian and Moroccan inspiration.Chef Nico Schuermans has finesse and creativity, and diners will enjoy each bite of his creations.
If you're stopping in for just drinks, grab a seat at the bar: there are plenty of stools to park it on.
If you're after something fresh and fruity, give the Wallflower 75 a try. It's made with muddled seasonal berries,Odd Society Wallflower gin, long pepper vanilla syrup and pressed lemon and then topped with sparkling wine. This pretty little number will likely even give the men in your group drink envy.

For something with a little bite (Seriously – it comes with a nibble of blue cheese.),try the Blue Fig.It's made with oven-roasted,fig-infused gin and served with a side of blue cheese.
The menu also wouldn't be complete without a healthy selection of Belgian beer. There's everything from ambers and blondes to trappiste, tripels, lambics and more. The hardest decision of the night is deciding what to drink.
Can't decide?Ask one of the bartenders;they're full of knowledge and will be happy to point you in the right direction. They also have plenty of wine to choose from.
Chambar is now open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, though one of the best times has to be when the lights get low,the music gets a little louder and the debauchery begins.
Tip: Over the years,Chambar has thrown some amazing New Year's Eve parties. If you have the opportunity to go to one,it's highly recommended.
